The
Woodson Ice Hockey Club provides co-ed extra-curricular opportunities for
the students of Woodson High School in Fairfax, Virginia. Our player's skill levels range from novice to advanced and our coaches provide them with
the leadership and training (on and off the ice) that teaches the life lessons
associated with the great game of ice hockey: work ethic, respect for all aspects
of the game and competition.
The
Woodson Ice Hockey Club was formed in 2002 by a group of parents who wanted
their children to be able to play ice hockey for their high school.
Teresa Mayberry was the founding President of our club and has had three sons
develop and excel under the tutelage of our terrific head coaches, Keith Dean and
Gil Egan.
The
Woodson Ice Hockey Club is a member of the Northern Virginia Scholastic
Hockey League (www.nvshl.org) and practices and plays their home games at the Mount
Vernon RECenter in Alexandria, Virginia.
